Basadi Bloom is an innovative environmental management company delivering class leading services in the management and disposal of waste. Originating as a small sector operator, we quickly realised that we could scale our operations to service a vast market.
One of our key values is the holistic empowerment of women who form an integral component of our operations. All Basadi Bloom’s operators are women who we will develop into standalone waste management entrepreneurs through our funded owner-driver scheme.
We aim to empower women and their families by enabling active participation and partnership by Black women in the business.
Our fuel supply business wanted to ensure unquestionable hygienic service to the drivers and operators who used our facilities within all our sites across South Africa.
This necessitated an in-house solution for the collection, removal and disposal of septic waste from the depots.
True to our entrepreneurial spirit, a septic waste disposal company was formed, servicing not only to our internal needs but later expanded to other clients looking for waste management services. Our expertise and knowledge gained during operations, together with our reputation as a reliable waste management service, allowed us to confidently grow our external client base.
